Something New

Jan 09, 2015

The “Weathering the Storm” (WTS) website, celebrating its third anniversary in February, is constantly looking for new and better ways to carry out its mission to “Awaken, engage and help mankind weather the storm” – the perfect storm, that is. WTS is pleased to introduce a new feature:

WTS will herein automatically post substantive media interviews whenever possible. Readers can also log in and download previous podcast/interviews that are archived. Please link into our inaugural posting; a recent interview thoughtfully conducted by Jamie Johnson, host of the “Western Wisconsin Journal” cable news show, at:

As a reminder, the WTS website offers a large menu of archived articles that address various topics and late-breaking events in different ways. The current menu includes:
Storm Warnings:” Published quarterly, it provides an in-depth review of perfect storm topics such as energy, economics, climate change, geopolitical developments and other issues.

News Flash: News Flash is a bi-weekly blog that comments on contemporary issues that contribute to the perfect storm. It typically links other related articles to the featured theme.

Best Practices:” Published quarterly, it features organizations that are proactively working on solutions that will help address the challenges of the perfect storm.

"OLLI Perfect Storm Curriculum:” Posts the complete PowerPoint curriculum used in the “Perfect Storm” class taught by publisher, R. Michael Conley, through the University of Minnesota’s “Osher Lifelong Learning Institute this past fall.

Guide to Weathering the Storm:” A free 33 page guide that provides a planning framework for weathering the storm.

The WTS website will continue to look for better ways to provide useful information to readers and hopes this new addition will help support that effort.
